Official Biography
David Andrew Macdonald is an American Actor, Director, and Educator.
Broadway credits: Skylight, Rocky, Mamma Mia!, Coram Boy, and Two Shakespearean Actors. He has worked at regional and touring theaters across the United States and Canada. He was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award in Chicago for his portrayal of Gerald Croft in the 1995/96 National Tour of Stephen Daldry’s An Inspector Calls. In 2018, he received the Toronto International Spring of Horror & Fantasy Film Festival’s award for “Best Performance” for his work in Tommy Battles the Silver Sea Dragon. His television credits include ‘Elementary’, ‘Person of Interest’, ‘Blacklist’, ‘Law and Order’, ‘Law and Order: SVU’, ‘Sex and the City’, and 10 years as Edmund Winslow on ‘Guiding Light’ (the longest story ever told.) Mr Macdonald is a proud Group XX graduate of The Juilliard School.
